The CCL is a two-year, part-time programme. Students develop skills to promote self-reliance and independence. The CCL is underpinned by a rights-based agenda and provides opportunities for interaction between CCL students and students on other programmes. This promotes awareness raising and reciprocal learning.

Students complete eight modules including a work placement and are assessed by doing a portfolio with written, video and creative pieces. They earn a Certificate.
